Gudrød the Hunter was king in Vestfold, and to have died in 839
Gudrod was of Ynglingeætta and son of Halfdan the Mild. He was also called the "Storlåtne".
Gudrod was married twice, first with Alvhild, daughter of King Alvarin from Nair, and with her he got a half Vingulmark, says Snorri Sturluson. The zone is their Olav Geirstada-Alv.
